7th/8th Grade ArtThis week students worked on painting their clay fish. Due to so many cold days, I had to make up a fun project that would teach students the same techniques as my originally planned project but would take less time. So I came up with the Fishies project. I could not be more excited about the results! Each fish is unique and the students' creativity really shined through! This project is due by Tuesday 3/24. Be sure to ask your student about their fish! Next week is the last week of the quarter. All Late work will be due on Wednesday 3/25. Students Celtic Tile grades are now on PowerSchool . 6th Grade ArtStudents started weaving and finished glazing their coil pots this week. Students learned about the Pueblo pottery of the Southwest and glazed geometric patterns on their coil pots. I will fire their glazed pots next week. Also this week students learned the tabby weaving technique. Students will continue to weave through next week.
Students's clay owls were returned to them and their grades are on PowerSchool. Comments are closed.
