6th Grade Art6th Grade students were amazing this quarter! They caught on to art rules and procedures very quickly and followed them all quarter. I believe this led to their success as they knew what to do and this maximized their art making time. Proof of this, is that this is the first time EVER that students have completed the weaving project! I've taught his project over 10 times and this has never happened! Students always gave their personal best with everything they created this quarter. I am so proud of all the 6th Grade art students have accomplished. I will miss them next quarter and hope to see them again in 7th grade. Below is a slideshow with some of their work for this quarter. 7th/8th Grade ArtA main focus of 7th/8th Grade Art this quarter was drawing. Most students were very dedicated to improving their drawing skills. The goal was to strengthen their ability to draw what they see accurately. To help students achieve this goal they completed daily warms, drew many many sketches, and finally maintained a positive attitude. Since I look at every student's artwork carefully, I can say that each student truly improved. I believe their dedication and positive attitudes contributed to improvement as artists. Below is a slide show of some of their work from this quarter. |
