Clay Contract
Clay Due Dates:
Clay will have multiple due dates. A wet due date, glazing due date, and a final due date.
Wet Due Date: The wet due date will be when you are required to be completed with your clay project prior to the first firing. In other words, you are finished creating your project with wet clay.
Glazing Due Date: The glazing due date is when you have finished glazing you work and it is ready for the glaze firing.
If you are not finished Mrs. Winters will not fire your work. It is your responsibility to make sure that your work is ready to be fired. You cannot take clay or glaze home with you, so arrangements must be made during lunch, academic time, or after school to complete your work. It is your responsibility to make these arrangements with Mrs. Winters
Since 3D work takes time to make you will not have a lot of projects in this class. Therefore you will be awarded points for meeting wet and glazing due dates in addition to your final grade.
Final Due Date: This is when your work is completely finished! You will turn in your final work along with a project reflection for grading. MRS WINTERS ONLY GRADES FINISHED WORK WITH A REFLECTION SHEET.
Upon signing below I understand the clay due dates for this class. I understand that if I do not meet the wet and glazing due dates Mrs. Winters will not be able grade my work because it will not be complete. I understand that this will affect my final grade in this class.
